La Blanquera, c’est une histoire qui commence en 2021 quand, avec Geoffrey, nous commençons à chercher un endroit pour atterrir. Nous ne sommes pas partie à la quête du graal sans avoir, au préalable définis quelques critères de sélection sur lesquels nous ne pouvions faire l’impasse : nous avions envie de suffisamment de terrain pour les animaux et pour un potager, nous voulions être à moins de 25 minutes à vélo de notre lieu de travail, mais ne pas être en ville avec tout le brouhaha qui va avec et en plus pouvoir partir dans la pampa sans avoir à prendre la voiture. Et j’oubliais… vivre en lotissement était complètement banni !
On ne savait pas si on préférait partir sur une rénovation ou construire du neuf et l’idée de la chambre d’hôtes était déjà dans un coin de la tête sans vraiment faire partie des critères principaux. Autant vous dire que parfois, la barre me semblait placée un peu trop haute… Peine perdue pour les pessimistes! Nous avons effectivement trouvé notre petit coin de paradis début 2022. Nous avons signé pour un terrain nu de 1300m2 en contrebas d’un village d’environ 750 habitants (+2) qui a pour fond sonore la rivière. Nous nous sommes alors très vite projeté avec la liberté de faire la maison de nos rêves ainsi qu’une chambre d’hôtes. Les travaux de la maison ont commencé le 1er septembre 2022 et nous y vivons maintenant depuis 1 mois. Nous avons fait le choix de faire intervenir le moins d’artisans possible et de réaliser nous même une grosse partie des travaux. Malgré toute notre bonne volonté, on ne va pas se mentir, on a fait appel à des savants dans leur domaine notamment pour l’ossature de la maison qui était un gros dossier.
La chambre d’hôtes est une structure à part, elle se fait un parallèle aux travaux de la maison depuis maintenant 3 semaines. Comme la maison, il s’agit d’une ossature bois. Nous avons fait ce choix pour le côté esthétique, la facilité et la rapidité de mise en œuvre et pour le confort global du bois. Certains diront que c’est écologique, nous ne sommes pas forcément convaincu par ce critère quand on fait du neuf. Pour la surface, 25 m2 nous semblait être un minimum acceptable pour un hébergement de vacances qui peut accueillir jusqu’à 6 personnes. Nous avons vécu à deux dans une maison bois de 27m2 et l’idée de pouvoir proposer une expérience similaire le temps de vos vacances nous plaisait. Le côté social du projet m’attirait particulièrement. Je voulais pouvoir vous accueillir chez nous pour partager un peu de notre quotidien au travers des paysages, des plats préparés avec des produits locaux et de saison et par le biais d’un habitat plus proche de la nature qu’à »notre » (j’entends par là le commun des mortels) habitude, le temps d’un week-end ou des vacances.
Il s’agira donc d’un logement avec une salle de bain attenante et toilettes sèches à l’extérieur. Nous ne mettrons ni télé ni internet à disposition, cas nous sommes convaincus que vous passerez le plus clair de votre temps à l’extérieur ou à discuter entre vous, ce qui se fait de mieux aujourd’hui en terme de réseau social. La structure sera isolée avec de la laine de bois pour apporter un confort thermique sans avoir besoin de mettre une clim ! Nous veillerons à ce que l’espace soit ombragé grâce à des fruitiers que nous allons sélectionner sous peu, même si pour le côté gourmand de l’affaire, nous partageons déjà l’espace avec des muriers et des figuiers.
C’est donc un séjour avec plus de simplicité et proche de la nature qui vous attend. En attendant, affaire à suivre car nous n’en sommes qu’au début des travaux et il reste encore beaucoup à faire.
